I just gave my 1st mock test for GMAT and scored following: Q: 25 V: 44

My target is to get 710. I have started my GMAT prep a week ago.

Pl suggest what should I do to improve my score?

Hello,

Since your quant is the weakness, I suggest TTP. It’s amazing if you have some time in your hand. It’s very very exhaustive and the concepts are explained in detail.

I have given the GMAT myself and scored V35 Q35. I am extremely scared of maths in General. Although I haven’t given any mocks further yet, I am confident that when I do i will be able to tackle the questions far better than before. I am halfway through the course currently and looking to reappear in May’ .

Go for Target test prep. It's the best course for Quant.
Every topic is covered thoroughly.

It seems that you are good at verbal. I think GMAT quantum is a great course. This link below lists the free video explanations for all the quantitative problems in the Official Guide to GMAT. It will immensely help you to resolve quant problems.

Hi Rish52,

To start, can you confirm what your Overall GMAT Score was on that first practice CAT (and are the Q25/V44 that you reported the Scaled Scores or the Percentiles on that CAT?)?

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on your timeline and your goals:

1) What study materials do you currently have access to?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
