Hi All,
Thought I'd share my experience of giving the GMAT, starting prep again, stagnating for a few moths and ramping up my prep. (Check out the parallelism in that sentence

)
1st Attempt (July 2018): 690
Although 690 is a good enough score for some schools, it didn't quite hit the sweet spot. I had to overcompensate for my low GPA by getting a 700+ on the GMAT.
I started my prep again in June 2020. By the end of July 2020, I was done with the OG, OG Quant & Verbal, Advanced OG and 5-6 practice tests. I was stagnating around the 690-710 score range. I knew I needed a major change for the breakthrough I longed for. So here's my 1 month plan that I've adopted and I hope that this will add value to anyone reading this.
Disclaimer: This plan is for working professionals who can spare 2-3 hours of prep every day.
Week 1: - Take an official GMAT Prep test to know where you stand
- Take all free
GMATClub tests and analyze metrics on each sub-section within Quant and Verbal
- Identify areas that need improvement
Week 2:- Work on areas of improvement rigorously
- For quant: Go through the theory of your weak points and only practice those type of questions
- For verbal: Get a good book, go through the basics and have a plan of action for each question type
- By the end of this week, you should have a strategy for attacking each type of question
Week 3 & 4:- Take a GMATClub CAT every day for the next two weeks
- Take 4 practice tests, two each weekend
Hope this helps
