Hello All.. Is there a set of topics / subjects / disciplines, from which we could expect Verbal questions, especially for RC and Critical Reasoning? (for example, Economics, Finance, Business, Social Science etc.?)

Additionally, tips on highly recommended novels and magazines (for reading practice) would be appreciated..

Objective is to be aware of common topics / areas across which passages and CR questions occur most frequently..

Only way you could improve RC is by practicing RC.
Reading articles mostly develop habit of skimming, which can hamper your RC accuracy.
Thus I would suggest you to read slowly every RC and attempt without timer for 15 days.
Concentrate on accuracy initially.

In real gmat tests I encountered, I got following long RC topics: Medical pharmaceutical, History, and Natural science.

For CR, focus on type of questions rather than their topic
