Hi wenildexis5,
You have to be careful about comparing Quant and Verbal SCALED SCORES vs. Quant and Verbal PERCENTILES. In addition, depending on your overall Goal Score, there might be a variety of Q and V 'combinations' that will get you to your Goal. When you mention your 'first take', is that a reference to your first practice CAT test or your first Official GMAT?
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) If you took the Official GMAT, then when did you take it and what were your overall Scores?
2) How long have you studied so far? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used so far?
4) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
5) What is your overall goal score?
6) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
7) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
