GMAT Score.

Question

Hi Guys,

Never thought I'll write this, but I need some motivation and help!

I thought I was fairly good with English, mum being an English teacher but well I am genuinely surprised. I started studying for Gmat via Magoosh (Selfstudy Premium) like 2 weeks ago and gave my first MOCK test, I scored a mere 520, (Q-34, V-27). Initially my quant was on the lower end somewhere around 27-28, and verbal was stronger.

I am planning to give Gmat somewhere in November so I do have enough time.

Need some planning advise and how to improve Verbal and quant both.

I am practicing from OG, and Magoosh product both. Magoosh for quant is lovely, not so much for verbal though.

Any and all advise is GOLD!

I have learnt that e-gmat is good for verbal through various posts in in gmatclub. 
I am stuck in SC and sometimes I feel there is no way to get some questions right sometimes.

Hey Zo22 - e-gmat helped me improve my SC accuracy. I have come across people who have praised the likes of MGMAT SC and Aristotle SC to some extent. After going through the course i realised that most of sub 700 level questions are rules based and there fewer rules that GMAT focuses upon

With regards to CR and RC, IMO improving CR might improve your RC too. Aristotle CR is a good resource for that
