Hi Rich,

Yes that's the plan still, I am appearing for CAT on 29th November. Then I'll move on to XAT and GMAT, and will take diagnostic test next month.

Hey Sagar - Get a baseline score and then do practice sets of verbal questions

Sub-700 level SC questions are mechanical, you can easily solve them once you get a good grasp of the rules

I would suggest you to go through the manahttan prep SC book or Aristotle SC book If you looking for a course, e-gmat has helped me improve my SC

Hey logro, thanks for the suggestion!
I have a lot of material, Manhattan and OG looks better options as per feedback from lot of people. Will check Aristotle as well after that.

Hi Sagart21,

Since you are dealing with multiple Exams, you should probably focus on your upcoming Exam (on November 29th) for now - and shift to your GMAT studies afterwards.

As far as that initial GMAT Diagnostic CAT/mock is concerned, you shouldn't try to over-prepare for it. That initial Exam is really meant to measure your natural skills, strengths and weaknesses - and you'll improve on that first result over time as you learn more about the Tactics, patterns and little 'secrets' of the Exam.

Hi,

Since you have mentioned that you have lot of materials i am not going to touch on courses or materials. I like to share couple of important points that helped me in my prep

1. Start to follow Project SC Butler. Start to answer daily questions posted in the forum and also learn from other candidates and official questions.
https://gmatclub.com/forum/project-sc-b ... 81043.html

2.Follow Experts in the SC Forum.
Follow all the solutions posted by the experts and one can learn so much from the approach and solutions of the experts.

All the best for your prep.

Hi Sagart21,

Since we discussed a tentative 'start' to your GMAT studies in December, are you now done with your other Exams? If you are, then it would be a good idea to take that initial CAT/mock sometime soon (perhaps this weekend). Once you have your Scores, you should post back here (or you can feel free to PM me directly) and we can discuss the results and how you might best proceed with your studies.
