Hello everyone, I have selected 26th March 2021 as the D-day for me(not booked yet). I have completed my quants using ttp and now just doing revision. I want help in Verbal, I came across Gmat Fiction and already bought "the great gatsby", I want to know that which are the other books should I buy because there are a lot of different books given in that post. Books I am using for verbal :-
Manhattan SC
Manhattan Verbal Foundation
Powerscore Cr
TTP
I would love to take any other suggestions regarding Verbal Prep.
For quants I am also planning to solve 700-800 question bank given in this forum.

Hi Saransh,

I would suggest you to not shuffle across multiple resources as it would be difficult to keep track. But as you have already bought the resources, just make sure that you follow a structured process of learning. Let me explain it to you clearly.

  • Deal with one module at a time
  • For example, you can start with SC, finish it and then move to CR
  • Make sure you learn the concepts of SC first, learn the right methodology to solve the questions of SC and then practice a few questions
  • When you move to CR, make sure that you practice at least 5 SC questions daily so that you don't lose touch with them
  • The same goes when you move to RC module. Practice 5 SC and 5 CR questions daily

Make sure to move to the next topic only if you are clear with the concepts and get a decent accuracy in the quiz. If you feel you need a little practice in a certain module, revisit the concepts. And make sure to analyze the solution of every question you solve.

Hope it helped. All the best :)
