One thing to consider is what you are actually looking for. For example, I recently had a Verbal student with whom I did only RC.

Basically, if you are only looking to focus on Quant or Verbal, to learn fundamentals or solving approach, these are factors you can think about when deciding your prep path.

Whatever you sign up for, take a trial and see what works for you. You could get in touch with Ashish from  EducationAisle . He provides live sessions in quant and verbal. He also provides a complete package that includes IR and AWA as well.

From your post, it's not clear whether you are just starting your studies or have put in some significant study time already.

If you're just beginning, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can access 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a bit of practice first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the general content and question types first, then that's fine - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at our website (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them, then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.
