Strengths:
- Highly personalised one-on-one mentoring tailored to individual strengths and weaknesses
- Expert mentors with deep subject knowledge and clear, effective strategies for Quant and Verbal
- Continuous support, motivation, and accessibility throughout the preparation journey
- Detailed analysis of thought processes to identify and fix core gaps
I am incredibly grateful to the GMATWhiz team for helping me achieve my target GMAT score of 695.
After nearly 8 months of self-study + e-GMAT prep course, I found myself stuck at 595 and had honestly lost confidence and motivation.
Joining GMATWhiz and working one-on-one with my mentors completely changed that trajectory. Piyush (Quant) and Sunita Ma’am (Verbal) are truly exceptional mentors. They took the time to deeply understand my strengths and weaknesses and crafted precise strategies tailored to my needs.
Piyush has an outstanding command over Quant and knows exactly what it takes to master the section. More importantly, he believed in my potential even when I didn’t, and played a huge role in rebuilding my confidence from the ground up. Sunita Ma’am's ability to analyse my verbal reasoning process and pinpoint subtle gaps made a huge difference in my performance.
What sets them apart is not just their teaching, but their genuine care and support. They were always approachable, patient, and encouraging, never once making me feel discouraged, even during retakes or low moments. Their mentorship went far beyond just academics; they helped me develop confidence, discipline, and a positive mindset.
Improving from 595 to 695 felt like a huge comeback for me, and I truly believe it would not have been possible without their guidance and support.
I would wholeheartedly recommend GMATWhiz to anyone who feels stuck, underconfident, or in need of the right mentorship. You don’t just learn Quant and Verbal with GMATWhiz, you grow in ways that stay with you far beyond the exam!
Strengths:
I think GMAT Whiz provides an extremely structured methodology to approach both GMAT Quant and Verbal. The quizzes are great and challenging. The lectures are quite thorough and there's always something new to learn even if you are good at a give topic.
Would make the product better:
A minor thing that could improve would be the score predictor and the recommendations on the portal. I never used these a generally just went ahead and did the things that I wanted to do. The score predictor on GMAT Club was much more accurate predicting my eventual score of 655.
Overall I am quite thankful to Piyush, Sunita and their team at GMAT Whiz for helping me achieve a great score. The improvements in verbal were a real game-changer for me and the involved reading method helped me avoid silly mistakes in quant. I had always struggled with verbal and my reading in general wasn't great. The GMATWhiz approach helped me build a method that got consistency in my verbal scores which previously were all over the place. The tutor sessions helped me hone this approach and make it my own. I did more than 15 verbal tests before the exam on GMAT Whiz and GMAT Club and consistently scored 82-83 (Eventual score 82) This gave me tremendous confidence for the actual exam. My main problem with quant was not reading questions properly and missing out key information. This also improved thanks to the involved reading method. I also viewed the quant lectures on their portal and they are quite impressive. As someone who considers themselves good at quant, I still found newer shorter ways of solving problems which also helped. Their quizzes are quite hard but doing them also gave me the confidence to take on the actual exam which was expected to be easier. Finally the strategy webinars from GMAT Whiz are a class apart from anything else and this helped me fix some general issues with my exam strategy. I would highly recommend GMAT Whiz to anyone aspiring to take GMAT!
Strengths:
The course was well structured and it gave in-depth knowledge of concepts that can help anyone overcome their shortcomings.
I found GMAT Whiz to be one of the most effective and well-structured GMAT prep platforms at a very reasonable price. The course stands out for its AI-driven approach, which accurately identifies weak areas and provides targeted improvement plans. I particularly appreciated how each concept is taught in a modular format, making it easy to learn step by step without confusion. The Verbal section is exceptionally strong — explanations are clear, logical, and highly practical, helping me understand not just the “what” but also the “why” behind each answer. Overall, GMAT Whiz is definitely worth exploring and investing in. You won't be disappointed.
Strengths:
Mentor Support
The one-on-one mentorship with Jyoti was one of the most valuable parts of the course. Her weekly feedback sessions helped me track progress, identify recurring mistakes, and improve continuously. She provided personalised strategies to strengthen weak areas and offered support whenever I felt stressed or anxious, keeping my preparation consistent and positive.
Teachers and Video Lessons
The video content is of excellent quality — every topic is explained clearly and conceptually, with helpful tips and shortcuts for solving questions efficiently. The teachers focus on building a strong foundation, which made even difficult topics feel manageable.
Portal and Interface
The GMATWhiz portal is intuitive, organised, and user-friendly. It provides detailed performance analytics, topic-wise progress tracking, and a timed OG practice feature that replicates the real test environment perfectly.
Study Plan and Structure
I appreciated the flexibility to create a customised study plan based on my schedule and study hours. The structure of the course — broken into topics and subtopics, each followed by a cementing quiz — made learning more focused and goal-oriented. The built-in completion score tracker added an element of motivation and accountability throughout my prep.
Would make the product better:
More Data Interpretation (DI) videos – Adding additional DI videos covering a wider variety of problem-solving approaches would help strengthen this section even further.
My experience with GMATWhiz has been extremely positive. The platform made my GMAT prep both organised and motivating.
Beyond academics, GMATWhiz helped me stay consistent, disciplined, and calm under pressure — something that truly set it apart. The built-in quiz tab allowed me to practice smaller quizzes first, before gradually moving on to sectionals and full-length tests. I also got access to many sectionals and full-length practice tests, which helped me build stamina, timing, and overall exam confidence.
Overall, GMATWhiz provides not just content, but a complete learning ecosystem — one that builds knowledge, confidence, and consistency every step of the way.
Highly recommended!

The number of DI questions in the portal can be increased
When I began my GMAT journey, I underestimated how much preparation it required. I scored 555 in my first attempt in October 2024, despite having enrolled in a prep course earlier. Looking back, I realized I was underprepared because my foundations were weak and I didn't have any strategy. I knew I needed to build my concepts and was looking for a prep course that emphasized on fundamentals rather than shortcuts.
Around that time, I stumbled upon a GMATWhiz YouTube video that explained a concept I had been struggling with. The clarity of that explanation stood out to me, so I decided to take a demo. What struck me immediately was how GMATWhiz started from the basics, ensuring there were no conceptual gaps before moving on to advanced problem-solving. I knew then that whenever I resumed my preparation, GMATWhiz would be my course of choice.
I enrolled in Jun 2025 for my next attemt. The course itself is thoughtfully structured. It starts with basics, and moves to different types of questions. It doesn’t just teach formulas or tricks but equips you with frameworks to approach different types of questions in a logical, step-by-step manner. I particularly saw improvements in Verbal—Reading Comprehension and Critical Reasoning—where I had struggled earlier. The focus on “pre-thinking” while solving questions was a game-changer for me.
The platform is another big plus. The personalized dashboard helped me identify weak areas and track progress effectively. The question bank provided sufficient practice across all levels, and the analysis after each test highlighted not only accuracy but also time management issues, which made my preparation more targeted.
Finally, the mentorship made the experience truly unique. My mentor, Jyoti, supported me with study planning and motivation throughout the journey, which kept me consistent and focused. She helped me with strategy, especially in Verbal and DI. I feel that opting for GMATWhiz could truly be a life-changer for my career. It would open doors for me which would have been difficult otherwise.
Strengths:
1. To the point course modules - especially in quants
2. Extremely detailed CR concepts explained in shorter duration modules
3. WhizQuiz: Allows you to track section wise preparation and build custom sub-topic level quizzes
4. Timing strategy modules: Actual "gold" - as exam strategy >>> accuracy and knowledge for GMAT
5. Dedicated mentor: Helps you throughout the prep, guides you on the next steps as per your status
6. OG solution record option - helps you to have a single place for maintaining error logs and notes
7. Diagnostic quizzes & AI course scheduling - Saves you crucial time by adjusting course structure on the basis of your existing conceptual knowledge
8. Doubt Resolve - Question level doubt resolving within 12-48 hours
A great concise course for anyone who is short on time and want to build a strong grasp on concepts - especially in verbal.
Content playbook and the recorded lectures are solid, without any fluff, relevant to the actual requirements in the GMAT, with a few additional concepts and methodology as well that will save you a great deal of time in quants section.
I found the mentors great at especially at evaluating your prep level and guiding you through the journey. It was this, apart from the course learning and practice that helped me boost my scores from 595 in my 1st mock to 675 within just 10 days.
Their obsession with fundamental concept building and improving timing instead of making a student give countless mocks and waiting for magic to happen was something I greatly benefitted from.
TL;DR
No brainer choice, especially if you an Indian, and short on time - you can get mentor support in your native language - a highly underrated help in my opinion
Strengths:
The process of teaching the critical reasoning is absolutely the best. In the quantitative section, the AI adaptability of the courses, based on the student performance on the test is quite helpful.
Would make the product better:
The RC section has very exhaustive information. Many of which cannot be used practically. It should be modified as to provide explanation to someone attempting the test.
I was attracted to the GMATwhiz courses after coming across its RC videos on GMAT club's YouTube channel. The approach and the explanation provided in those videos exited me to subscribe the course. And it did not disappoint.
The RC section was as detailed it needs to be, covering each RC question and provided methodology that must be practically utilized in the exam for those questions. For RC, i felt that the course went over and beyond what it should have been about, without getting into the practical way to counter those questions.
In the quant section, the AI adaptability was of a great help, since it enabled me to concentrate more on the weaker sections rather than going on a wild goose chase. Also, the explanations of the quantitative concept were provided in a very intuitive level, which greatly helped in getting the concepts clear.

Would make the product better:
There aren't many things I'd recommend to improve, although I think sometimes the in-house quant questions veer too far into mathematical complexity and less in the pure logic / problem solving the GMAT attempts to test.
That said, even this is still helpful, as the better you understand the underlying math, the more patterns you're able to identify and more tools you have available to approach PS questions in Quant and DS questions in DI.
I turned to GMATWhiz after using another service that, despite being highly rated on GMATClub, left my quant skills lacking and shaky even after a few months of diligent preparation, and I'm so glad I did.
Piyush, the founder and quant instructor at GMATWhiz, is an extremely thoughtful and deliberate teacher. I opted for the online course along with live instruction from Piyush, and found the entire program to be highly effective.
The online course at GMATWhiz is split into modules which include video lessons and problem sets that cover each of the relevant concepts found on the GMAT. The sessions I had with Piyush would supplement this video instruction, address any doubts I had from the coursework, and involved Piyush presenting various different and time-solving approaches which helped me effectively tackle a range of question types.
What most stood out, though, was the thoughtfulness and involvement Piyush showed in my GMAT journey. As much as he helped with the course content, he also served as a mentor who strengthened my overall test approach and thought process. While the video lessons were thorough deep-dives into the quant material, sessions with Piyush helped uncover and refine my own approach, through exercises he'd create to highlight and correct any gaps in my methods, and even call out any self-doubt I was needlessly exhibiting. He'd spend time—including his own time, outside of our classes—to explain why I should approach some questions with patience, not overthink certain things, and answer any questions I had.
I strongly recommend GMATWhiz and working with Piyush. He's an extremely thoughtful instructor who goes the extra mile, meets you at your level, and helps you perform your best.
Strengths:
GMATWhiz’s biggest strength lies in its personalized, concept-first, and strategy-focused tutoring. Piyush has a razor-sharp eye for identifying gaps that even students don’t realize exist after 1000s of practice questions. His mentorship is tailored, honest, and brutally effective, he doesn’t just tell you what to do, he teaches you how to think. The structured feedback loop, quality of explanations, and emphasis on critical thinking over shortcuts made me enjoy even the hardest Quant and Verbal questions something I used to dread.
Sunita Ma’am’s Verbal coaching was equally exceptional, her technique driven reading strategies for RC and CR helped me tackle passages efficiently without back andforth rereads.
Also, the GMATWhiz platform itself is a goldmine it has intelligent planning tools (AI planner), level based question banks, video explanations, and testing features that are incredibly effective even without a tutor.
Would make the product better:
Honestly, nothing. From the tutor support to the platform features, everything was spot on. The only regret I have is not reaching out to GMATWhiz earlier in my journey I could have saved a year of going in circles.
After three attempts over two years with various self-study courses (Indian and global), I was stuck in the 650 zone. Even the GMAT Focus Edition couldn’t shake that plateau I dropped to 595 at one point. Despite working hard and solving 1000s of questions, I wasn’t making progress, especially in Quant. Even my strength Verbal started slipping. That’s when I found Piyush from GMATWhiz, and honestly, everything changed.
From day one, he reassured me that the issue wasn’t effort it was precision. He rebuilt my approach from the ground up. His guidance was laser-focused on not just fixing weak spots but developing the thinking structure needed to tackle 700+ level questions.
Within weeks, I was solving hard questions with ease, and I genuinely started enjoying the prep (something I never thought would happen). Eventually, I brought in Sunita Ma’am for Verbal coaching too her reading strategy revolutionised how I tackled RC and CR.
Despite a surprising low DI percentile in one attempt (625), Piyush didn’t let me lose confidence. His belief in me pushed me to retake it again just days later and I finally scored 655 (GMAT Focus) with 94th percentile in Verbal and 84th in DI. I loved GMAT by the end I was solving questions on GMAT Club for fun after office hours!
If someone asks me for GMAT advice, I say this: Talk to Piyush. Do what he says. Don’t look elsewhere. He’s a mentor in the truest sense not just a tutor.
GMATWhiz didn’t just help me crack the test it helped me rebuild my confidence, rewire my thinking, and actually fall in love with learning again. I cannot recommend it enough.

After attaining a 605, I had almost lost faith until I came across GMATWHIZ.
The course overall is top-notch. The concept building, techniques building videos are gems. The quizzes (both, concepts booster after each session and other quizzes) are the cherries on the cake.
I exhausted all of the Problem solving and Verbal questions from practice quiz. And, that helped me boost my stamina in each of the sections.
Tutors:
Piyush sir for QUANT:
He provided with me all the tricks that proved extremely helpful. He constantly boosted my morale that kept me going.
Sunita ma'am:
The reason behind the insane jump in Verbal from 51 to 90 percentile is her.
She literally taught me to read the passages (RC, CR). I enjoyed solving verbal questions in the exam.
