Strengths:

affordable, nice guidance in strategy

I found the course helpful as there is a constant feedback provided by the experience counsellors. The quality of the house structure is very nice and covers most of the topics specially in sentence correction and overall verbal strategy.
The quants lectures also includes the basics and clears the concepts behind each and every formula. The course would be helpful for anyone starting from scratch or looking for a score improvement. There is a continuous communication with the counsellors and they help to recognise the grey areas, so it becomes easier as we don't need to spend time and analyse.
Overall the course is good value for money and will help you to build strong foundations.

Course GMATWhiz Verbal Tutor Prep

Strengths:

Great verbal instructor, comprehensive course and quality concept building quizzes

Having started my GMAT Prep in May 2023 with a cold mock score of 660 (Q44, V37), I knew I needed to improve drastically if I wanted to be competitive for the programs I wanted to apply to in the fall. I realized the biggest issue with verbal was sentence correction, and quant too required work and looking at the provided reviews across platforms I decided to go ahead with TTP. The quant was helpful but something about the verbal section did not click with me and I knew that unless I actually discussed what I was doing with someone I had no chance at improvement. I found GMATWhiz at that point in time and contacted them. Upon doing so, I was introduced to Sunita ma’am who made me realize that my approach was firstly wrong and that I was unnecessarily rushing through questions without looking at the finer details. I went through their course along with weekly/bi-weekly sessions with ma’am and during this process I slowly started to get better at understanding the intended meaning of the sentence. CR had initially not been a struggle but I realized that harder questions on the GMAT were of a completely different level – and ma’am’s advice of focusing on the conclusion and not being distracted helped me get through a lot of them. Ma’am has been very helpful throughout the journey and even with my struggles and frustrations helped me keep calm and confident as the test date drew nearer. As I gear up for another attempt to improve my quant score (I, unfortunately, had noise issues at the test center that dragged it down), I hope to keep the learnings through the process with ma’am and the course.

Before joining GMAT Whiz, I have taken two online/self study GMAT courses. While these courses helped me in building a strong foundation, but could not help me enter the GMAT 700 club. GMAT Whiz turned out to be a game changer and helped me reach 700. GMAT Whiz SC, break the sentence and decipher the meaning is quite a powerful strategy. In addition, its mentor program helped me in clearing my doubts, acted as a sounding board, and helped build my confidence. Its score predictor tool is quite interesting. Overall extremely happy with the course and would strongly recommend the same to high score GMAT aspirants.

Strengths:

You can study on your own time. It customizes the course to suit your time requirements but ensures that all aspects are covered. It also adapt the course based on how well you are doing in a topic

Would make the product better:

I felt that to use this course basic knowledge of math is required which some people may not have. Building a strong math foundation at the beginning would e helpful

Before Gmat Whiz, i had used another studying website when i gave my first attempt. However I found that they way GMATWhiz creates your studying schedule more helpful.

I used GMATWhiz for about 2 months and managed to complete the course. My favorite thing about GMATWhiz is the Whiz Quizes. I found these extremely helpful as I could customize it to focus on my weak topics. Towards the end of my studying i used to just do 4-5 whiz quizes a day. It also helped me get in the test mode.

I also really liked the OG section of GMATWhiz. I found this to be unique and very important. The questions that I got wrong were very well explained on GMATWhiz.

My overall experience with GMATWhiz has been great.

I can't emphasize enough how GMAT Whiz completely transformed my GMAT studying experience and ultimately enabled me to achieve my dream score. While the platform itself is robust, it was the personalized tutoring support that truly made all the difference in reaching my goal.

Initially, I began my GMAT studies with Target Test Prep, a great platform that helped me grasp the basics of the test. However, I soon realized that it wasn't enough for me personally. The platform was quite dense, and unless you have like 6+ months to dedicate to it full-time, it might not be the right fit. Moreover, it focused too heavily on building foundational skills(of course super important) and not enough on how to use logic to maneuver through the test. Additionally, it lacked mock exams and detailed analysis, which I found crucial for gauging my progress.

After spending several months with Target Test Prep, I needed more comprehensive support, and that's when I discovered GMAT Whiz. If only I had found them earlier, I could have halved my study time and achieved my goal score more quickly. The platform's user-friendly interface adapted to my strengths and weaknesses, ensuring I focused my efforts where they were most needed. I especially appreciated the projected score feature that allowed me to track my progress and determine my readiness for the exam.

However, the true game-changer for me was the exceptional tutoring team at GMAT Whiz. Right from the start, it was evident that they possessed not only extensive knowledge of the GMAT exam but also were authentically invested in helping me reach my target score. My verbal tutor, Sunita, expertly guided me through the intricacies of reading and answering questions with precision. Additionally, my quant tutor, Subhankar, developed a systematic approach to address my weak areas, introducing simpler methods to arrive at correct answers quickly and efficiently. Most importantly, they offered invaluable insights on managing time during the test, an aspect where I felt TTP fell short. With the inclusion of mock exams and AI tools, I gained confidence in fine-tuning my test-taking strategies.

In conclusion, if you're seeking the most efficient path to achieve your dream score, look no further than GMAT Whiz. The platform's comprehensive resources, coupled with the exceptional personalized tutoring, make it the ideal choice for GMAT success.

I started my prep with a GMAT score of 630-650 when I did not have access to GMAT Whiz. I stumbled upon GMAT Whiz while searching for resources online to improve my score. I took the free version of the course and immediately liked the structured way in which the course was laid out.
My first GMAT attempt score = 670(Q49, V32).
Took the 2-month access plan of GMAT Whiz and took guidance from Satyam(mentor) for improving my score.
Gave my 2nd attempt in 40 days of taking the plan.
My 2nd GMAT attempt score = 700(Q50, V35).
Extremely delighted to see a 30 point jump in my score in 40 days - largely due to:
* GMAT Whiz's structured and customized plan to get the target score
* Regular feedback sessions with the mentor on the progress
* Right strategy at the right time of the preparation journey
* Extremely well constructed courses on Quant and Verbal - which cover the length and breadth of GMAT preparation
* Very high quality mocks and quizzes which contain the closest possible simulations to GMAT

Strengths:

Helped a lot with verbal and to solidify quant concepts
Mentor was very helpful

I started my prep with magoosh
Even though it helped cover quant it wasnt that good for verbal
thats when I found GMATWhiz via their youtube videos
I was struggling with verbal in my mocks
I used the GMATWhiz online material for about 1 month
I was able to gain confidence in my verbal and also solidify my quant concepts a bit better
I would recommend their verbal for non-native english speakers
I was also assigned a mentor who got in touch with me on a weekly basis and recommended strategies and planned mocks for me. It was great having a mentor who could prioritise what to tackle when and to identify which areas I was weak in.
The overall experience was good and the mocks I took were quite accurate and I ended up getting a 720.

Strengths:

The verbal course was pretty intensive and well structured. The quant videos were pretty good too. They seem to have covered all major areas of the exam and outlines a good approach to follow for the individual sections as well.

Would make the product better:

The question bank could have slightly higher number of difficult questions and lesser easy questions as these are what are required for practise in the later stages

I had a good experience with the team. Sunita and Subhankar were very helpful and were constantly available to discuss any issues I had during the prep. I would recommend this to anyone who is either starting out or is midway during their prep. The videos were interesting and the question bank had good variety of questions as well . The course structure is designed in such a way as to cover all topics in each subsection gradually. It is comprehensive and the explanations are easy to understand. Quizzes are designed well and the review section helps a lot to filter and find specific questions youve faltered in to create an error log. All in all, Its totally worth the money

GMATWhiz has a unique methodology that provides a strong basis to solve any question verbal or quant.
A dedicated section analysing your strengths and weaknesses as you progress through the course.

GMATWhiz helped me a great deal in improving my score from 610 to 710. It provided a strong foundation and understand of each and every concept and I was able to solidify these topics with multiple quizzes provided by the course. The GMATwhiz provides unique methodology that when applied, makes it easier to get higher accuracy rate. The course simplifies each and every topic and teaches you the approaches to tackle each type of problem. By the end of the course, I was able to have a clear understanding of each topic and I was able to solve 700 level questions using their methodology. I was mentored by Subhankar, who helped me work on my weak areas and also guided me in the best way possible. We discussed regularly on my scope for improvements and analysed my quant and verbal performance of each topic. The verbal section has defined methodology for SC, CR and RC, that makes it easy for students to identify the flaws accurately and solve the questions. I would definitely recommend GMATWhiz to anyone planning to take GMAT exam.

GMATWhiz online review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Improvement 60 Points

Course GMATWhiz GMAT Prep

Strengths:

- Structured course for verbal
- Focus on areas that are lacking in quant (evaluated based on diagnostic test)
- Detailed course with point to point explanation

Would make the product better:

- Error log needs to be maintained manually as the portal does not keep track of it even though you can put tags to each question
- Better interface for keeping track of scores on the portal itself to evaluate progress

Before my first attempt at GMAT, I had mostly self-prepared using the OG Guide, Quant Review, and Verbal Review. I had taken Quant classes from Wizako which I felt really strengthened my basics, and no classes especially for Verbal, except that one month before the exam, I had taken Magoosh but did not have time to solve all the questions.
I scored a 640 (Q49, V27) on my first attempt in Nov22 - I went into the exam with not much confidence, because my score was fluctuating even during the mock tests.
After the exam, I realised that I need a better and more structured approach for verbal because till then, I had focussed only on solving more and more questions. I took the GMATWhiz course mainly to tackle the Verbal section with more confidence. I had already referred to their videos and webinars before my first attempt and also read a few reviews on GMAT Club. I booked a consultation call and decided to take their course on Dec 22.
For verbal, the course was very structured and very detailed to be able to solve any question that comes along my way. Before GMATWhiz, I used to directly jump to the options after reading any question in CR and SC, and also in RC, I used to read the question first and then the passage. GMATWhiz helped me change this approach and molded me to pre-think and make assumptions which helped me solve any question.
For quant, the course identified my strengths and automatically added/deleted topics based on my performance in the diagnostic quiz. That way, I did not spend time on topics that I was already confident in.
I spoke to my mentor once in two weeks and he asked me to make an error log which was extremely helpful in understanding what exactly I had to work on.
My final score was 700 (Q48, V38). I had expected to do better in quant but due to certain unforeseen circumstances and exam day pressure couldn’t perform as well as I had expected.
Overall, I had a great experience with GMATWhiz.

The only drawback that I noted is that though the portal helps students create error tags (reasons for error) for each question, the portal itself does not generate the error log using this. It would be a great help if the portal itself provided the base for the error log for the student.
