Exam denied because of id problem : Need your help !!

Question

My proctor just denied me access to the exam (online version) because of an issue with name on my id. My name didn't match my id because they didn't have my middle name registered on the examinity platform, which is weird because I did in fact register them on the MBA platform but I didn't notice they weren't on the examinity dashboard until it was already too late

I don't expect to get a refund since it's my fault for not noticing the problem sooner. I tried to edit my name on examinity but it doesn't work, I cannot edit it on the MBA website either ! Guys who do I talk to to get this fixed and reschedule quickly ? Also does this register my exam as an attempt or a no-show ? Thank you all !

Hey You should write an email to customercare@mba.com for rescheduling the exam. They will most probably give you a voucher code for online exam to be used without any additional cost.

I wouldn’t start out with that assumption. It seems like you’ve done everything that’s expected…

This will not count as an attempt. Since you didn’t attempt the test. This will actually not show up anywhere or have any implications.

Contacting the customer service is probably the best bet

It should be counted as 'no-show'. You should get the refund in this case, for sure.

Just to clarify there is no relationship between no-show and a refund. Usually, if you skip the test, you will not receive a refund.

Also, I think the best case scenario here is a free retake with a voucher 🤷‍♂️ but we will see.

Hi  Wyggam

You can send email to customer services with snapshot of your MBA profile and photo copy of your ID. They will raise a support case with SLA attached to it. When are you planning to give another attempt?

If the name is an issue on Examity's end, it may be possible to request a free rescheduling. You'll probably need to send a copy of your ID straight to GMAC via email to their customer support. This attempt will not "count" towards your lifetime attempts.
