Tips to go from 700 (mock) to 750+ (ideal score)

Hello,
My progress so far is as follows:
7th July 2023 : Official Mock 1: 640 (V29. Q49)
25th July 2023: Official Mock 2: 700 (V38 Q48)

I have been using TTP for the past couple months (love it) and egmat for verbal (2ish modules on SC pending)
I'm not sure if the current mock score is completely by fluke too.
Any tips on how to progress from V38 to V46? I used to think my english was above average - kinda humbled by the scores.
Also I noticed I was extremely under-confident in my quant today.

Would love some thoughts/advice/your study plan advice if youre in a similar boat

Although it's possible to get a 750 with a high Verbal score (had a student for example who got a 750 in April on a retake mainly due to their V37 going to a V48), fair to say the scoring gets pretty steep on Verbal at a certain point. A V48 for instance is actually the result of only a single counted question being incorrect on that section. Might be better to aim for a Q50 V42 or Q49 V44 therefore.

If you feel your fundamentals are solid on Verbal, consider working on your solving approach. May boost your score a bit. Perhaps work with a study buddy who is strong on sections/types of Verbal questions you're not. There's a study buddy thread on gmatclub you can check out/sign up to.

- check out the TTP SC course. It's super comprehensive and covers things you won't see elsewhere.

- use the CR and RC portions of the TTP course to learn strategies and ways of thinking that you can use to perform at a high level in CR and RC.

Going from V29 to V38 in just ~2 weeks is remarkable. I don't think it would have been possible if you didn't already have very strong verbal/logical skills.

I don't think there's a set path from V38 to V46, but I hope you find yours. All the best.
