Dear All,
I hope everyone is doing. I started my prep in 2018. It took me five years almost to score a 700( didn't prepare for 2 years alsmost in between). I almost gave up trying for GMAT. However, there was a burning desire to try one more time. However, now I am applying for colleges. I have admits from few of the colleges - UCD Smurfit, HH Leipzig, Cranfield, XLRI jamshedpur to name a few.
I have a dilemma now. I need to quit my job. I am earning a decent salary. Will it be worthy to quit my job for an MBA? Not only the schools are super expensive, but it seems I will be in a burden of loan for eternity. Initially my aim was to get it completed in a year. Hence, I applied for UCD. To be honest, with the scholarships I am getting, thsi is affordable. But I don't see significant career jump for the alumnis. So I am wondering whether it will be a good move.
In Leipzig also, I secured 20% scholarships. But I need to learn German. I don't know how much I can learn in a year and half.
The main issue is that at first I was driven my passion to score well in the GMAT. For long, I haven't lived without salary. Luckily I started my job in Capgemini in the very next month of my final semester, even before the the result was declared.
I am suffering from indecision. I would request if anyone can shed some light or if anyone feeling same as mine or was in a same position.
Regards,
Arup
