If I had twice the amount of time to complete the verbal section, I would easily score in the 90th percentile.
However, I am in the 60th percentile due to ridiculous issues.
I'm sure many people have varying degrees of how much they absorb and remember while reading. I know that once it is in my head, I can express my reasoning skills on each question effectively.
Issues
1)mumbling while I read
2)re-reading sentences
3)fleeting short term memory (possibly caused my slow reading)
I excel during the math section only because less reading requirement. The more words and phrases used, the worse my math scores get.
Is it possible to reach v40 with these kinds of issues?
If someone injected me with a shot of adrenaline before each verbal section, I'm sure my deficit will be reduced. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen.
Who has overcome this issue?
I've heard about skimming paragraphs during RC helps.
Also, I've heard parsing CR into math logic helps also.
