Hi
SakshiSiddham,
I understand your frustration with these varying scores - it can be really confusing! Let me help explain what might be happening here.
When we see such score variations, it's crucial to look beyond the scores themselves and understand the root cause of these differences.First, I want to assure you that our e-GMAT mocks are adaptive, just like the actual GMAT, and are carefully calibrated to match the test's difficulty level. Let's analyze why you're seeing these score variations.
I can see that you started with a Quant score of Q80 (65th percentile) and are aiming for Q88 (95th percentile). This is quite a journey, and it's not something that can be achieved through practice tests alone - much like a basketball player can't make it to the NBA playoffs by only playing practice games, without mastering fundamental skills through focused training.
I have analyzed your mocks and can see that your average accuracy in these mocks is 31- 41%:

While, yes, the accuracy is low because of the unanswered question penalty, (which is something that you will face on the actual test too), when you look carefully, you can see this is not the only cause:
- Even on questions where you have sufficient time, accuracy isn't where it needs to be
- On questions you're getting right, you're often spending more time than optimal
Why is this happening? Is this unexpected? No! As you can see from this graph below, both your medium and hard-level accuracy needs improvement across various sub-sections:

Not fixing these accuracies and moving directly into the mock is like trying to play in a championship game without having mastered your free throws and three-pointers - the fundamentals matter!
To bridge this gap, instead of continuing with more mock tests, you need to focus on building and cementing your conceptual understanding. Just as professional athletes spend countless hours perfecting their basic skills before big games, you need to strengthen your foundation before tackling full-length adaptive tests.

Hi Guys
I am really confused. I have been using e-GMAT for a while.
Recently I gave a GMAT Club free mock and scored a 675 (timing was not an issue - was able to complete before time)
Then I gave the TTP Diagnostic test and had a 84% avg accuracy (timing was not an issue - was able to complete before time)
Then I gave an E-GMAT mock and scored 515 (timing was an issue - missed 4 quant questions, and Verbal %ile was 76%)
Any idea as to why this might be happening?
In general on e-GMAT sectionals I have a 50-60% accuracy and tend to miss out on 2-3 questions.
Any plausible solutions for this or suggestions?
