Hi everyone,
During my
GMAT Online exam, I experienced a
flashing green border around my screen as soon as the
Lock app and GoTo Meeting were launched.
Despite multiple restarts and following the proctor’s instructions, the issue persisted.
I tried to cancel by the
second question, but the
proctor didn’t respond for two minutes.
Forced to continue, I struggled to read the questions, which
severely impacted my performance.
GMAC gave me a retest voucher, but they haven’t confirmed:
- What caused the issue or how to prevent it.
- If I’d get another retest if it happens again.
- If a cancellation would count toward my five-exam in a year limit (because the last one counted! - Can I appeal this?!).
They said it’s a
Windows issue and offered no solution.
I suspect
GoTo Meeting played a role since I don’t recall using it in my previous successful attempts.
I am leaning toward taking the exam
online again, but I’m very concerned about encountering the
same issue and having no way to resolve it.
Has anyone experienced this?- Any fixes or workarounds?
- Can I request Zoom instead of GoTo Meeting? (GMAC told me it's mandatory.)
- Should I switch to a test center to avoid tech issues? (I’ve only used the whiteboard).
Would love any insights!
Thanks so much for your help!Best,Omer
