Hi all, this may come off as silly but I'm still unsure if I should take it or not.
After my failed attempt in May where I scored far below what I was scoring on my practice exams, I've been studying as much as I can through my internship. I've only been using GMAT Club and doing practice questions and some GMAT Club practice exams and section tests. I just took my last OG practice exam #6 (and the first official one I have since I took the official GMAT), and scored a 725 Q87 V85 DI86. The whole time, the questions felt easier than when I took GMAT Club practice exams, especially for Quant, which is what I've read will happen but I'm still unsure.
On GMAT Club exams, I've scored 655, 675, and 615 from late May to mid June and took Quant section exams of 80, 84, 82, 87 from late June to early July and one Verbal section exam where I got a 82 yesterday.
My plan is to apply to Wharton, CBS, and UChicago deferred programs this upcoming application year since I'm graduating in May 2026. I'm shooting for a 705+ but would be happy even if I got 685 since I can always just wait to apply to programs after gaining work experience.
I plan on taking it on July 18th if I do decide to take it. Should I still go for it even though my GMAT Club tests don't align with the OG Practice Exam I took?

Congrats on a good official mock score! I think you are quite ready for the real test and there's even a possibility to surpass your expectation. Having said that, my advice for you would be to go through all your past official mocks, identify each mistake you have committed in the past and try to limit those in your actual GMAT exam. Considering your current skillset, I don't think you need more time on strengthening concepts, but the actual difference in your final score might easily come from improving minor test-taking strategies like staying calm and limiting your anxiousness while attempting the test, avoiding silly mistakes on questions you know you should get right, and giving yourself adequate break in the middle to reset. Just being positive and going in with the mindset that you'll easily get a good score is half the battle won. All the best!

Official Practice Test 6 is certainly your most accurate current GMAT score, but why not repeat the official practice exams? You can retake each one once and see fresh questions. That will give you a good sense of whether your latest official test was a fluke or a true indication of where you stand.
