Hi all,
Looking for input from folks who have successfully bridged the gap from a mid-600s score to the 90th+ percentile on the GMAT Focus Edition.
Current Score Breakdown (Official Mocks):
Looking for input from folks who have successfully bridged the gap from a mid-600s score to the 90th+ percentile on the GMAT Focus Edition.
Current Score Breakdown (Official Mocks):
- Quant: Q84–86 (Solid accuracy on sub-605 questions, but pacing drags on dense word problems and number properties, hurting the final 3–4 questions).
- Verbal: V79–81 (Untimed accuracy is decent, but subtle assumption traps in CR and retention on dense RC passages pull down timed performance).
- Data Insights: DI78–80 (MSR and complex Two-Part Analysis variance based entirely on time pressure).
- CR Pacing: What specific mental shift or framework helped you eliminate trap answers faster without over-analyzing every distractor?
- Quant Time Traps: What is your decision-making rule for cutting losses versus pushing through an unexpected calculation grind mid-section?
- DI Prep ROI: Which review techniques produced the biggest score jump for DI under strict test timing?
