Hi Friends,
I am just a beginner here so please excuse me if I am asking something which has already been discussed here somewhere.
When I started my preparation for GMAT a week back I started with a practice test in GMATPrep-Test-2, and I got 590 only(12 Incorrect in both Q and V). So I thought let's try it once more with a little revision of the concepts and today when I appeared for the Test-1, I got 650, but surprisingly the number of wrong answers were 4 MORE (15 Incorrect in Q and 13 Incorrect in V) this time.
So my query is, how can I score 60 more though I answer 4 more wrong answers? Is it a bug in the software?

It's adaptive so the difficulty of the questions changes throughout the test based on your answers. You probably reached some of the more difficult questions the second time around. The answers to the easy and difficult questions are weighted differently. Getting a difficult question right is worth more than a correct answer to an easy question. And getting a difficult question wrong hurts the score less than missing one of the easy questions. Hopefully you can see how the different answer weights could result in a higher score even though you actually got more questions wrong.

i second tan888 opinion, you would have scored on the tougher questions/lost on the tougher questions.
