Hi all,
It's only recently that i've started my prep. with KAPLAN LIVE ONLINE and made note of its strategies etc..
I plan to divide time evenly b/w quant & verbal before i reach my comfort level. Needed help as i have a couple of questions in mind :-
[*]Given that i already have kaplan online do you think that i need to purchase kaplan's verbal workbook, or
[*]Alternatively, i stick to my original plan of studying OG 11--OG verbal review 1st ed.--Mgmat SC--Powerscore CR & doing OG 12 in the end, also
[*]What would you recommend for RC--Veritas RC(some forums suggest it)or the good old Mgmat RC.
Appreciate your help in advance

Hi.... I have heard good reviews about "Powerscore CR" and "MGMAT SC". I dont own them but going to shortly. Totally dis-appointed with Kaplan's verbal book that I own, and in my opinion its RC passages are way different from real GMAT. I think you will be better off with variety of sources at hand as you are planning to than sticking with just Kaplan. I did that mistake and realized after 2 months that I should have had a more diverse resource structure at hand than just Kaplan. Even though I did learn a lot from my Premium Online Course I dont feel well-prepared for the test. Beacuse if you compare GMATPREP CATs with Kaplan CATs, the difference is huge. Kaplan CATs keep testing you on topics they have covered in a particular workshop, which does not really reflect the test day conditions. In my opinion, Kaplan's scoring rubric seems off as well. But it depends who you talk to. I have read some very loyal reviews about "everything Kaplan".
In short, use OGs, MGMAT SC, POWERSCORE CR, and merge this with your online course. Dont stick to just Kaplan.
