Has anyone been invited to "IE's EXperience Weekend". I've received an invite for this eventm to be held on Apr 8th, but have no clue about it. Had never heard og it, nr what impact it has on the admission process. It seems as a Open Day + Drinks + Madrid City tour. If anyone could enlighten me about this I would really appreciate it, as I have not found information about it on the Web

I have been invited to that also, I am not sure what exactly it means.

I have been offered an interview at IE (pending) also.

Hello,

I also received that invitation and I'm also waiting for the interview.

I can be wrong but it seems to me an event for those most promising candidates that could have offers from other top-notch schools. The aim would be to make these candidates to choose IE instead of any other offer. As I said, this is just my guess.

Maybe at the end admitted students will be also there but they receive a different email.

What's your profile @nagano98 and @paulobajasaeusb?

Will you attend it? I'll do unless I will receive a ding in the meantime. It would be masochistic to be shown all the wonders of IE once you know you won't be able to study there that year.

Hi dude,

I have the same feeling, that is, that the event is for candidates they think might choose another university. I think its a chance for IE to sell the program in a more paternalistic/personal way. The truth is that I dunno. I will ask for more information about it next week, as I will be in Madrid visiting campus and doing an interview regarding the admission process. Ill let you guys know what they tell me, bI live in Venezuela and 2 international trips in less than 2 months might be a little challenging on my wallet :(

My profile is 720 5.5/3.5 years (on enrollment) exp on business consulting/good Extra curriculars/105 TOEFL/Venezuelan

What about you guys¿

Yes, let us know please.

For me it would be no bother, as I'm 5 hours from Madrid in bus or train.

My profile is M/710 6.0/5.5 we in IT and Research/108 and I think very good EC for Spanish standard. Also good international experience.

Hi all,

First of all apologies to Paulo and Nagano for PMing them, thinking that they received the invitation last year! I mistook the date they joined for the date they posted on the thread.

I also received an invitation which I accepted, hoping that I may combine it with an interview at the same time. My profile is 27/M/730/Greek in UK/3 years in Animal Genetics. I also hope that this is an invitation sent to the most promising candidates who might be eager to join some other school.

I have to say that IE is doing an excellent marketing job. The Open Day in Madrid last June was impressive and this event sounds excellent too. In any case it is a good opportunity for tapas, sunshine and museums!
