Hi mooze,

Business schools will be looking at career progression because they want to see candidates who are driven and are looking to make an impact. Career progression naturally follows this.

For your career, look for opportunities where you can take on greater responsibilities and lead/manage others. These will be the experiences that you can discuss and will be the ones that admissions teams will want to read about.

my understanding is that big/small company does not matter as much as what you personally do and what you learn.
progression is shown thru taking on increased responsibility, not through working for "better" companies. you might work for a more presitigious company but not progress at all.
