Kellogg- optional
Goizueta- optional
Wharton - optional
Kelley- optional
Tuck - optional
McCombs - part of optional visit?

Others - by invitation only

None of these schools have optional interviews. All admitted candidates are interviewed. Some schools do allow you to self initiate your interview. This is Kellogg's system (although there is a caveat for interview waivers, which then need to be followed by an invitation-only interview in order to gain admission). Wharton does NOT allow self-initiated interviews at all. They are by invitation only. I believe Tuck does self-initiated interviews up to a specific date and then interviews by invite only. As for the other schools you listed, I am not familiar with their interview processes so I can't say whether they are solely invite-only or if they allow applicants to self initiate.

To clarify, the Wharton EMBA program does have self-initiated interviews, however you are correct in that their full-time program does not.

Thanks for the correction. I didn't even think about EMBA or PT programs at these schools. Good call! :-D
