I had lofty goals for undergrad then career that were offset by family matters and having to work 36hrs/wk to pay for 100% of my undergrad. The following are my stats and target schools I want to apply to.
Stats:
27yr old, White, male from USA. Bilingual (English/Spanish) and basic French
Undergrad GPA 2.99 overall, 3.11 from the school I received diploma from (middle of the road state school)
Major Finanace, Minor Econ
3yrs work exp in a Fortune 500 insurance company (promotion each year)
Designations include CPCU, AU, AINS
Dale Carnegie Training
Volunteering: Habitat for Humanity, Tutoring Hispanic students through a nonprofit, also involved in church projects
**In the process of establishing my own non-profit for hospitalized children ($ and toy donations)
**Considering overseas mission trip
Studying for GMAT (looking like 710-740)
Targets: Stanford, Haas, Ross, Darden, Kenan-Flagler, Goizueta
Both including and excluding the ** stats, what are my chances of acceptance from each Target? What do I need to do to improve my chances? Definitely applying for 2017 class, might try for 2016 class.
