As I was continuing my research on schools I applied to, I stumbled across this link:

Basically, it states that the new US News graduate school rankings will be coming out on March 10th. As a R2 candidate awaiting acceptance, I am weighing if the results of these new rankings will or should have any impact on mine or anyone else's decision. While I have already personally ranked the schools I applied to (does not reflect the current US News Rankings), I the new numbers will certainly give me some good food for thought.
Here are my questions for the community, especially R2 and R3 candidates this year:
Will the new rankings impact you decision?

Do you secretly hope that a school you applied to will experience a rapid rise in the ranking?

The rankings fluctuate over time, but for the most part all of the schools stay within the same tier. If a school moves up 2 spots this year, its very likely it moves back down in the next year or two.
