Hi,
I have been pondering over the following question since a few days and I would appreciate if someone can provide feedback/advice on the same:
Do you feel that your academic performance so far gives an accurate indication of your potential for success on the programme? The above questions is one of the short questions in a MBA application. I am an engineer with GPA of 3.22 from a university whose grading system is strict because of which its not easy to achieve a high GPA. Secondly, my GMAT is only 680 (second attempt). Now, although I have worked hard for my grades and score, I do feel that they do not truly represent me and I could have done better. However, i do not have any concrete excuse except that I do not perform well under test conditions as I get exam anxiety before the exam, a condition that in turn upsets my stomach. I do have a very sensitive stomach and it makes me difficult to concentrate on the exam; this condition was the sole reason because of which I ruined my first GMAT score. I am not sure if putting this excuse would sound good (since i already feel embarrassed writing here). Moreover, I feel that I am not a very good test taker, especially the standardized tests.
Should I mention these points or should I just say that my score and grades reflect me? Can anyone help me how to tackle this issue?
