Hi All,
I hope everyone is well. I have a question regarding work experience prior to MBA applications that hopefully some of you may be able to answer.
What level of work experience is considered competitive at the top level of MBA programs (T14)? Currently, I work in IT Project Portfolio Management within a top 3 oil Company. The role is mildly strategic, but I wonder if it would be good enough to be competitive at the top level of MBA programs, given other aspects of my application are average for that level. Is it necessary to move to a role that generates more value and is more prestigious, or can I submit a competitive application with a solid 3-4 years within this field (given a promotion or 2). I would be targeting the lower end of the top 14.
Thanks for any and all experiences and insight!
Regards,
