I will be graduating from undergrad next year and this summer I will be interning this summer as a commodities trader with one of the big players (dreyfus/trafigura/optiver/cargill). I'm not sure I want to be in trading in the long run though and looking for MBA to pivot my career into brand management. Looking for good advice on which route would be the best vs stretch for HBS/GSB/etc and for brand management career?
1. 2-3 years as a commodities trader with the same company - not familiar at all
2. Marketing role with F100 pharma/CPG (Eli Lilly, Abbott, Wallgreens, General Mills, J&J, P&G) - I've met people who went this route
3. FLDP with F100 (Eli Lilly, Abbott, Wallgreens, General Mills, J&J, P&G) - I've met people who went this route
4. Marketing role with FAANG - not familiar but I assume it's possible
5. FLDP with FAANG - not familiar but I assume it's possible
Not interested in banks/consulting at this point
