Hi there, good question! ECs through work certainly count, especially for traveling consultants for whom volunteering outside of work would be difficult. Bonus points if, like you, someone has founded a new org within their company or held a leadership role in an existing one. You can certainly list your business and blog, but these won't be viewed as favorably unless they are charitable in nature (or directly benefit others in another way). Hope that helps!

Hi,
This is an interesting question and something we have been asking students to understand what admissions committees mean by Extra Curriculars.
It is not a laundry list of doing "stuff" but much rather finding what is consistent with your background, your hobbies and how this could align with your future goals. Often, the entire admissions process is about you learning about yourself.
The example you have mentioned does count for extra points provided you can demonstrate the following:
Why did you do this?
Did it demonstrate leadership and teamwork?
What was the benefit?
What did you learn about yourself from the experience?
How long did you do this for?
I would suggest answering the above questions and realising that admissions committees look for depth much more than they do for breadth.
