First post here. Apologies in advance for serval and open ended questions.

Normally, one would say US considering better programs and opportunities overall, but with the recent speculation over the OPT, and the * unwelcome* H1B policies, is US worth considering applying to?

How does the overall situation fare vs Canada or the UK? Also, would like to get some insights on work permit policies and job opportunities for the internationals in these countries.

Would you be missing out on a lot if doing an MBA from outside the USA?

Another important consideration for my personal situation is the funding opportunities. Could be in terms of scholarship availability, need based, loans for international candidates, or part time job/TA policies.

Leaving out Europe because I'm guessing the language barriers might be a hurdle post MBA (valid?).

Considering applying in fall 2020.

Hi. Isn't it really too early to think over a country for MBA? The best path is to achieve a commendable GMAT score and then let's think of such things later. However, it would be a wrong way to forecast things that can happen after a year or two given that the conditions now are changing quite rapidly day by day.

bb : To correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for your input!

I fail to understand how it is too early to decide over a country since round 1 deadlines will be approaching in two months' time for most top schools.

Yes, one option would be to apply to all these places and decide later, but application fees aren't negligible for me, so I'd prefer to have a clearer understanding of what I should be targetting, despite the fact that this isn't the ideal time to make predictions.
