Hi everyone,
I just wanted to start a thread to help some people at a high level with different questions you might have, and if interested, have further conversations about your application journey.
I have been an admission consultant on the side, and I have been able to help people get into business or policy schools (and other dual degrees). My degrees come from Cornell undergraduate, Wharton MBA, and Harvard MPA. I have already helped over 10 people get into HBS, Wharton, Columbia, Yale, and Tuck as well as other schools that you probably know in the M7 and top 15. I also helped some of them get into programs such as policy programs at Harvard Kennedy School and Princeton School of Public Policy. I can also tell you that I got in most of the programs I mentioned above.
My reasoning to become an admission consultant is that there is so much mystery about the application process, which is magnified when combined with our insecurities about our chances of admission. If you tried the admission predictor tool of the website, you probably realized that it will always tell you that you have no chance. I definitely had no chance at Wharton because I was not the classic applicant. Being a non-traditional background candidate was not an easy position to be in. When you feel that the PE/VC/Consulting people are likely going to get in and you won't. That's the moment when you need an honest opinion. I would like to help some of you that need that extra eyes from someone that went through the process and was successful.
Things I can promise:
1) I won't bullshit you. I'm blunt, but that I also will advocate for people I believe in. If I think you have a chance, I totally mean it.
2) Everyone is welcome. I don't cater to certain profiles. I know how it is to make a case in business. If you were not even in business, I can still help you. For instance, I helped someone go from a pure government background to HSW.
3) I can prove my admissions in case there is any doubt that I made it through the process.
4) I won't make you publish your profile here. You can message me directly if you'd prefer or have an open talk in the thread.
I look forward to connecting!
