Should i mention names of cos for which I am managing relationships?

In my role I am managing relationship with 5 different companies to expand business for my firm. Should I mention these names (some of them are local, some global names) in my resume or should I just mention "managing business relationship with 5 clients...doing xyz with pqr impact"?

If it is public information or at least something you are permitted to share publicly, then go ahead and name drop. It certainly won't hurt. Just make sure it doesn't look too obvious that you are name-dropping. The idea is to validate your managerial experience and show the depth of your responsibility.

You probably also want to include the "doing xyz with pqr impact" part as well. The client list, actions taken, and results achieved make for a complete picture.

Specificity always helps. So, if this is information that is not confidential, then you may absolutely go ahead and mention the same. The local and global backgrounds will help highlight the diversity of exposure and if the domains in which your clients exist are varied, that too would be a value-adding point.

Two considerations to answer that question:
1) Would you be able to IMPRESS with the results of your work with them? You definitely do not want to impress the adcom with the scope of your responsibilities, and fall short on the results.
2) Since some are local, some global, you may not want to name all; (assuming criteria 1 is met) maybe just mention 2 of the most impressive names
