Admissions Consulting Companies Reviews
Congrats to all those who got into their desired schools this year. It's time to start a thread for members to share reviews/opinions of their admission consultants.
Suggestions for your posts:
- 1. Search for existing discussions before asking; your questions may have been answered a few times already
- What elements should one consider when selecting an Admissions Consultant
- What worked for you and what did not?
2. If you are posting a review/feedback, please post it in the format of (pros/cons/bottom line) or something along those lines
3. If you have used a consultant, please answer these 2 questions:

Review for Admissions Gateway (AG)
I’m not the regular MBA aspirant. Coming from a family business background, I was clueless and nervous about how to portray my story. But with proper guidance from Mudit and AG, I managed to receive admits from Duke ($), Darden and Foster ($$).
After speaking with 8 different consultants in India and abroad, I decided to work with AG, based on my interaction with Mudit and testimonials from other applicants with a family business background.
Mudit encouraged introspection, helping me learn from the process of putting together applications, and thinking coherently about my goals. He kept pushing me to improve and polish my drafts as much as possible, resulting in 15-20 iterations for each part of my application. This allowed me to dig deeper into my story to build a resume, essays and goals that told a truly coherent and uniquely packaged story. He also pushed me to retake the GMAT, enabling me to improve my score to 740 from a 710.
Thank you so much, Mudit and AG! I would highly recommend Mudit and AG, and would be happy to discuss him in greater detail with anyone who would be interested.
