Do i need MBA consultants for admissions?

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for 2nd round for 2027 Intake, i m yet to make my gmat, but my score is 695-735 between various official mocks.

So, i went to multiple MBA admission consultant websites, and each one charges some 3-4k $ per school, which is more than my monthly pay ( im from India).

Any suggestions on consultant part? do i actually need them? or any cost-effective consultant?

Short answer is Yes, long answer is it depends on if your circle.
One of friend prepared for GMAT and applied to college on her own (got help from her seniors and friends) and got into Darden.
I recommend people to go for economical admission consultant there are few old school consultant who charge around 10% of mention fees in the post.

 If you're applying to multiple schools, an admissions consultant can definitely be helpful, particularly for understanding school fit, building a focused school list and making sure your application is consistent across different programs.
