End of the Road - All Fall 2009 Applicants

Question

Before we all quit our jobs and move away to new cities for business school and etc, I want to congratulate everyone on their success this application season. It's been a honor sharing my application journey with you all, and I hope to see most of you guys checking in from his or her school periodically.

speaking of end of the road, is anyone else really struggling with this 3 month wait we got ahead of us til school starts? this really sucks, i have no desire to work anymore and could care less about my job now. just hoping i don't get fired before i decide to quit, i need to pay rent!!

I am not sure if there is a single person who doesn't share your situation.

However, I am sure in few months - we will end up missing our day jobs when 1st yr related bschool stuff kills us ..... over and over again....

I've actually written about that in my blog lately, how after the visits and interviews and admitted student weekends, there's this lull between the end of applications and the start of school. Sure, there's a lot to do in the meantime, but you want to get started NOW! As I said on my blog, the application process is like being allowed to take a road trip. We've got our cars packed and we're sitting in the gas station ready to go, but we can't get started yet!
