Let us try to get this started and run an experiment for four weeks. We need at least
one current student/alum and at least
one applicant to lead the effort of organizing the chat with current students.
The team of chat moderators will need:
a) to organize one chat per week.
b) set an agenda for the first few chats just to have some structure.
c) keep the conversation on topic.
d) have 30-45 minutes of free time per week for the next four weeks.
e) post the transcript of the chat (edited for content

)
f) to coordinate with current students and applicants. The nominated current student(s) will coordinate with fellow students, and the nominated applicant(s) will coordinate with applicants.
You will have authority:
a) to remove/ban anyone who does not heed warnings.
b) set an agenda for the week.
