Chat with current students/alums - sign up to be a moderator

Question

Let us try to get this started and run an experiment for four weeks. We need at least one current student/alum and at least one applicant to lead the effort of organizing the chat with current students. The team of chat moderators will need: a) to organize one chat per week. b) set an agenda for the first few chats just to have some structure. c) keep the conversation on topic. d) have 30-45 minutes of free time per week for the next four weeks. e) post the transcript of the chat (edited for content :wink:

) f) to coordinate with current students and applicants. The nominated current student(s) will coordinate with fellow students, and the nominated applicant(s) will coordinate with applicants. You will have authority: a) to remove/ban anyone who does not heed warnings. b) set an agenda for the week. If you would like to lead, please let us know: a) your intention by posting the times you are available in this thread. b) how you would like to organize the chat if you want to do this differently?

I can do some evenings, typically 7pm CST or later, ideally 8pm CST. Generally speaking I just need to know a few days in advance.

I can stop by for 30-60 minutes but I can't stay and help highhopes with chat moderation due to study group and other commitments every night. Monday and Tuesday are no-no's for me. (Although Tuesdays, I might be available around 9pm-ish) I would prefer 9pm-ish ET and like rhyme said, few days advance notice will be nice. That way, I can notify a fellow Gclub member from last year, currently at Tuck, who asked me to notify him if such event like this occured in the future. (I would also avoid Thursday since many bschools have happy hours scheduled, if not every night...) :wink:

I can do this as well. I will also see if I can pull in one of the new 1st years from here. Fridays work best for me, particularly in the afternoons.

Yahsek, I'm nine weeks in and school never really stops kicking your ass. Just do your thing. I'm 100% serious, too.
