Oh my. Things can get really messy there. My friend ended up destroying about five glasses falling off a stool trying to take a photo at a friends house afterward.

You may take the piss, but the rose is the best wine on the deal there (said friend is a sommolier and we did some testing). The cocktails are pretty lethal too.

Only downside is it is often populated by obnoxious NYU students.

God I have Pheobes. I may seem like I am in a bad mood today, going round threads griping, but that bar is more filled with a random assortment of mid-twenties professionals who wouldn't really be missed if the bar were to mysteriously fall into a pit one night. Probably a pit made by their collective dispair at not getting much of a bonus in a 10% unemployment can't-fund-the-budget New York.

Bad layout, over-priced - I can't say enough bad things about that place. I guess it does get some NYU people, but that is why we went and hid in a far better bar round the corner.
