I am not sure if many in this forum are into poetry, but I have always been a big admirer of 'people who can present a spontaneous overflow of emotions into words', Poets and Poetry, as defined by Wordsworth, is what takes 'origin from emotions recollected in tranquility'. The sense of abstraction in a few lines beyond time and space, beyond boundaries and distances and beyond dreams and reality, does present a suitable retreat from things, especially impending tasks at hand. 
After an daunting session in Quants, when I went back to Yeats, the words which once made sense, felt more abstract than they usually did Even though the pleasant and soothing touch remained, the beauty of it, making sense and having no logic at the same time, was disappearing. The lines are,
Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
When I read them before, I related to the 'I' and the idea of dreams. But now when I hear dream, it comes with a blinky sign decorated with lights around a 740 Just brings me to the idea of being mechanized somehow. I was wondering if anyone else felt the same way here
I know when the dust settles down, and I find a way to the blinky lights, Yeats will come back to me Just wish, if these exams weren't so exhausting!
So I am sharing my thoughts here! with some poetry as I read through them! Sure would love people to share there prep-stories and the things they did in their free time to get charged up for the coming exams
