I took my first mock test with almost no preparation and scored a 280. I am extremely disheartened.
I was planning to apply to universities for Sept 2021 intake.
I might have to take my GMAT by 25th December in order to have my scores with me before applying.
I have 24 days to prepare. I am ready to give 8-9 hours a day for preparation.
Will I be able to cross 600 at least. (My aim was to touch 650).
Is it possible to do it or should I give up and start looking for other options?

GMAT is not an exam that could be cracked with just a few days of prep when you are starting from around 300.
You are the best person to make the decision for yourself. All the best!

It really depends on how many nervous mistakes you’ve made. If you had to skip a bunch of questions at the end or you did not finish answering the last 10 questions, your score in reality may be a lot higher if you do your timing differently. At the same time, if one of the concept you saw on the test a foreign to you and will have to be learned, that means you have a longer road
