Thank you for your help. Another question I had, when we refer to our conversation with a current student, can we just directly go by their name or we have to give a preface that they are a current student? -
Eg - "After my conversation with XX XX, it became clear to me that the resources at......"

OR " After my conversation with current student, XX XX, it became clear to me that the resources at......"

Which one is preferable?

Hello everyone,
I'm sure whether we can use the abbreviations of the school's own programs; eg - 'HPM' for the 'Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program' in CBS directly in the essays to save on the word count. I assume the AdComm is already familiar with their program's offerings, but still it's always good to be clear. Please help me out. Thank you.
Hi,

It's generally advisable to use the full program name at least once in your essay to ensure clarity. However, once you've established the full name, you can use the abbreviation for subsequent references.

Agree with the above advice on the use of abbreviations. For use of name of existing students, I would write is like this : Namita Garg (School 202X)

Thank you for your response! Another question - when we write the year of a student, do we refer to their year of joining or their intended year of graduating?
