At Kellogg, they matter for top IB (GS/MS) and Google. No one else cares, including MBB.

Go to a school with grade nondisclosure and don't worry about it!

Which schools have grade nondisclosure? I thought that was very common, as in practically every B-school had it.

I go to Georgetown and they do disclose grades. The only job application where I was asked to disclose my GPA was Google, but I've heard top consulting firms (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) may ask for grades as well.

You could just skip the whole resume - cover letter shenanigans and sign up for pymetrics. They are a neuroscience career assessment platform that matches you with industries, companies and jobs. I didn't have to disclose my grades, submit a resume or cover letter. I got the interview right away and can say I landed my summer internship thanks to them.

Highly recommend. The best part, its totally free.

Wharton does not disclose grades. I believe that is one of the only ones from the M7....but I could be wrong

I would say that overall grades really don't matter that much. In fact in second year they probably don't matter at all. Therefore take classes that you are either interested in or ones that you think will help you out after school.

It's like that show, "Who's Line Is It Anyway?"....the points don't matter, not in the long run. Focus on the learning and networking, not the grades. Setting up some time to chat with a classmate and learn from his/her experiences >> getting a 100% on an exam.
