My suggestion would be to visit some of the discussions in the applicant forums for AGSM, MBS, and others.
The main difference I have observed (I am not applying), is the lack of value some of the Australian employers assign to an MBA and also challenges in getting work permit after graduation (even more difficult than in the US from what I understand). It surely does not make Australian programs much more attractive....

Thanks for your input!

Hi There,
Anybody applying to Australian Business Schools?
If so, can you please share your experience, school ratings, important information and main diff with USA business schools.

Thanks in advance.

I will add also my observations.

The variety of electives in American school are not matched in Australian schools. I find most Australian schools offer very basic courses and few electives which are not intriguing. Also, the experiential learning in US schools are evident. I love the clubs idea in American schools, something I do not find in Australian. It adds to your learning experience and skills, especially if you want to explore something new.

Thanks a lot!

I know about one of the finest business school in Australia, Melbourne Business school (MBS). Sponsoring the World Business Forum and facilitating the Diversity Panel because it has always been a leader in promoting the latest research and solutions to pressing business issues.
