[quote="Vicky4354"]Hello forum members , I have completed my engineering degree from a 3rd tier Indian University with extremely bad academic records ( 53% in class 12 and 59% in b.tech which I could pass in 5.5 years ) and I have never participated in any extracurricular activities .
after graduation I could not get job for the next 4 years but at the age of 27 I got selected in India's 2nd largest public sector bank (= panjab national bank ) as an assistant manager , after passing IBPS Po exam .
Now I want to take GMAT exam after 3-4 years of preparation because I don't have required work experience .
Kindly advice me on my profile improvement during this period .
From this year I would get experience of working in credit department and after few years I can get chance to work in forex , treasury etc departments or I can become branch manager ...would these kind of work experience be helpful ?
Should I take CFA or Frm exams ?
Any other advice for me ?
Thanks in advance .
I am not clear your writings that you got job in Panjab Nation bank - Are you continuing the job or have you left the job? If you have job experience in managerial level( assistant manager in Panjab Bank), it must have a profound impact in getting admission high ranked universities. But you have to score an outstanding GMAT score - 720+). Extra curriculum is highly marked in admission process in top ranked universities, but if you have outstanding gmat score and managerial job experience, you can be considered to getting admission in ranked universities.
Best of luck for your next endeavor.
