look at question 1
this is a main idea question. if the answer choices are close, we hard difficult question even if the passage is easy.

from my experience of doing this type of question, I get a skill I want to share with you.

the answer choice which cover all paragraphs of the passage is the main idea .

the answer choice, which cover most of, but not all of , the paragraphs of the passage is called " big idea " answer choice. this choice is tricky because we see that idea in this choice is important and we choose this choice and is wrong.

the skill I want to share is: look for one paragraph which is not covered by the answer choice of big idea to eliminate this choice. this is simple but effective.

answer choice A and E are close. which one is correct?

choice E dose not cover the last paragraph, which mention success of both men. so, choice E is wrong. look back choice A. we see that choice A cover all paragraphs. so, we get two time confident.

if we see 2 close answer choices, ask ourself? which one is main idea and which one is the big idea. and which paragraph is not covered by an answer choice.
