1. One gains markets share from somebody and not with somebody. B and D are out
2. When there are two functions and when the second is the result of the first function or a corollary of the first function, then a comma + verb+ing is the correct construction. To enable is not correct. A is also gone
Between C and E, the employees did something for the company to gain and not for themselves to gain. So C is gone and E remains as the correct choice

Hi,
few points to be noted..
1) enabling.. should be used as it modifies the action being done in main clause. only B,C and E left
2) the other difference is "gain.. from.. and "gain ... with.."
"gain ... with.." would be used when we are gaining with help of someone..
But we are talking of gaining from rival firms, so "gain.. from.." is correct.. only C and E are left
3) 'them' in C points towards employees but it has to be the comany .. only E left as correct ans
