We need a passive construction since chief executive wouldn't expose themselves with their own will. They would be exposed because of something.
Thus A is Out. C is Out for SV disagreement.
In B and D usage of would is incorrect. The action of then is going to happen in the future with all likelihood if the if-clause thing happens. Hence the usage of will is appropriate.
Therefore E - Answer.
D is incorrect
