IMO OA should be A

B. Using the latest technology and trendy designs, one gadget after another is developed by electronics companies as doing so..........................The modifier phrase 'Using the technology' is modifying 'One gadget' which doesn't make any sense. Company is using the latest tech & trendy designs.
C. Using the latest technology and trendy designs, electronics companies develop one gadget after another as it.........The antecedent of 'it' is gadget. Replacing 'it' by 'gadget' distorts the meaning of the sentence. The intended meaning is developing gadgets one after another will make the company profitable.
D. Using trendy designs and the latest technology, one gadget after another is developed by electronics companies because doing so............................Same as B
E. Electronics companies, using the latest technology and trendy designs, develop one gadget after another because it................Same as C. Also changing the phrase 'using the latest...' is between two commas which makes it a non-essential modifier.

Notable differences are:
1. as doing so vs it
2. What follows 'using tech..'
For #1, 'as doing so' is correct as it denotes some action leading to profitability..Using 'it' implies that developing gadget itself is profitable, Eliminate C, E
For #2, 'using tech..' is a modifier, so the thing it modifier should be just after that. In this case 'electronics companies' Eliminate B and D
What remains is A --> Correct answer
