My answer is (D). It took me 01:07.

(A) Main issue is the redundancy between "annually" and "a = per year".
Also, "with" can be misconstrued to mean ”together with". It may not be fatal, but something to keep in mind.

(B) "192 states" is plural and does not agree with singular verb "is".

(C) No major issue. Keep for now.
(D) No major issue, and it is much better than (C) because it uses an active verb "meets" rather than the long-winded expression of "has its meetings". The use of "has" in (C) can also be misinterpreted to indicate ownership.

(E) See (B).

POE:

A: Annually AND “times a year” are redundant

B: SVA: Plural verb “IS” for plural subject “192 states”

C: Contender:
1) Phrase “HAS ITS MEETINGS” is confusing; it may indicate possession
2) Option-D is more succinct than option-C

D: Correct

E: SVA: Plural verb “IS” for plural subject “representatives”

Correct Option D

A) There are currently 192 states with representatives in the United Nations assembly, which annually meets several times a year
Flaw:
- Dangling Modifier +
- Redundancy (Annual + Year) +
- wrong Sentence structure "with" usage, it indicates (states + representative)

B) There is currently 192 states with representatives in the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year
Flaw :
- wrong Sentence structure "with" usage, it indicates (states + representative)
- SV Agreement with 192 states plural - is verb singular.

C) In the United Nations assembly, which has its meetings several times annually, there are currently representatives from 192 states
Flaw
- "Its" pronoun created ambiguity
- meetings plural with singular has
- meetings is a Noun, meet is a verb

D) In the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year, there are currently representatives from 192 states
Correct all error of above flaw sentence

E) In the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year, there is currently 192 state representatives
Flaw
Is singular, 192 states plural

IMO D

A) There are currently 192 states with representatives in the United Nations assembly, which annually meets several times a year - Redundancy - "Annually and Several Times a year" also States with representatives gives a ridiculous meaning that countries/states are physically present along with representatives.

B) There is currently 192 states with representatives in the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year - Same issue as A , moreover Subject Verb Error.

C) In the United Nations assembly, which has its meetings several times annually, there are currently representatives from 192 states - No issues as such but lets compare with D.

D) In the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year, there are currently representatives from 192 states - This option is much better shorter and Succinct

E) In the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year, there is currently 192 state representatives - SV error.

A) There are currently 192 states with representatives in the United Nations assembly, which annually meets several times a year
Redundancy with "annually" and "a year". Eliminate

B) There is currently 192 states with representatives in the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year
Linking verb is must be are, to agree with the subject, 192 states . Eliminate

C) In the United Nations assembly, which has its meetings several times annually, there are currently representatives from 192 states
Pronoun its usage is redundant though grammatically sounds okay. Usage of has also interrupts and terminates meeting, until the writing of the sentence. This introduces tense problem, as the UN could meet in the future, based on the intended meaning of the original sentence. Eliminate.

D) In the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year, there are currently representatives from 192 states
'several times a year usage' is better than among all other choices and does not have any issue with reference error, or subject verb agreements. Keep

E) In the United Nations assembly, which meets several times a year, there is currently 192 state representatives
Linking verb is must be are, to agree with the subject, 192 states . Eliminate

So the answer choice is D.
