C. In sentence correction, sentence starting with Subject is given greater preference over Verb.
D. Also, fatty foods' contribution to obesity and dementia is the cause, which is a fact and already happens ( maybe known through research ). The effect of this is National Institute on Ageing in America advising people to avoid taking fatty food. In this sentence, it's saying it would happen in future ( would be ).
E. fatty foods is a category that represents set of foods. It's not a singular, distinguishable food. Hence, right word would be foods and not singular food.

In option B, does "they" refer to fatty foods or people?
