My answer is (A). It took me 01:04.
(A) No major issue. Keep for now.
(B) Subject is plural (success and vaccine), so "suggests" should be "suggest"
(C) Very similar with (A). Keep for now.
(DE) Not a sentence: there is no main verb for the supposed subject.
The difference between (A) and (C) are the verb tense used in the as clause. Should we pick (A) for simple past tense or (C) for past perfect tense?
Because past perfect tense should be used with a simple past tense somewhere else (and because I treat might as a model verb rather than a helper verb to indicate simple past tense), I pick (A) over (C).
